Attorney General Joins the Governor In Proposing Changes to Federal Laws Concerning Medicare Reimbursement Rates

Attorney General Hardy Myers, Governor John Kitzhaber, the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems and the Oregon Council of Seniors will hold a news conference to announce Oregon's two-part strategy to change the unfairness of federal laws establishing Medicare reimbursement rates:

Speakers: Attorney General Myers, Governor Kitzhaber, Ken Ruttledge (Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems), Jim Davis (Oregon Council of Seniors), Mrs. Logan (Medicare consumer); and Mr. King (Medicare consumer).

Directions: 58th Street exit off of I-84 East; right on Glisan; proceed to 47th Avenue and turn left on 47th; take immediate right turn into the steep, paved driveway of ElderPlace's parking lot. Limited parking is available in the rear lot of the building.
